    nice post. I have suffered from back pain myself in the past and have found that a lot of times it has to with your bed or mattress. I have tried putting a pillow between my legs which seems to help a bit. The only thing that really seemed to help me was doing yoga stretches before and after I go to bed. I’m not a huge yoga fan but this was the only thing that seemed to work. Stretching is really a must. Thanks for sharing this post.

    I suffer from lower back pain…though in my case it seems my weight had been a contributing factor. Sleeping position was a big deal for me…I used to enjoy sleeping on my stomach but I can’t do it anymore. What I did find helpful was yoga/pilates–these do wonders for lower back issues!

    Hi, Joshua. You right about weight can be the cause of back pain. Because our lower back supports our upper and also with the weight. Overweight can put much pressure on the lower back so can cause lower back pain. Try to exercise regularly to relieve your pain.     I’ve suffered from herniated discs in my lower back for many years and sleep is NOT easy when you wake up in searing pain just from trying to roll over. The side position with a pillow between my knees is what worked best for me.
    Having a good sleep is so important – if you struggle with chronic back pain, your mental outlook can become rather down if you aren’t careful… and getting that good sleep (even if not REGULAR good sleep) can make a world of difference to your mood, and your ability to handle the pain!
